Job Description

Ryan Aviation is delighted to be assisting an Aviation Company, based in Europe, in sourcing a Vice President Production to join their senior management team. This is a key role in which the successful candidate will assume responsibility for operational excellence throughout the Company towards achieving sustainable growth.

With seven individual departments within the Company reporting into the VP Production position, eligible candidates will have clear experience of management at this level.

Reporting to the CEO the VP Production will be a highly experienced, commercially astute leader with the people skills necessary to manage the change process.

Duties and Responsibilities:


​ Continuous improvement of the financial operating performance of the Company

​ Responsible for continuing to set new standards in safety management throughout all operations

​ Lead the operations and training areas

​ Ensure sufficient resources throughout the Company in cooperation with the Human Resources department.

​ Develop close working relationships with departments in order to improve interdepartmental functions

​ Achieve improved efficiencies through the implementation of new tools and technologies and ensure that cost efficiency plans are in place and properly implemented

​ Ensure the company has the correct operational controls, administrative and reporting structures and procedures

​ Measure effectiveness of all internal and external processes, producing timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company 

​ Ensure all program initiatives align with the company’s values and culture 

​ Provide leadership to those reporting to you to ensure that all staff reach their full potential within the Company


Qualification/Experience Requirements:


​ Educated to Degree level

​ Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aviation/Transportation/Airline/Logistics industry with a minimum of 3 years in a senior Executive/Management position

​ Full working knowledge of EASA and IOSA regulations and procedures

​ Experience working within a busy international Company

​ Previous nominated post holder experience would be advantageous




​ Strong leadership with proven experience of motivating people and leading the change process

​ Demonstrate strength in obtaining results through a clear focus on goals, accountability and communications

​ Strategic thinker with a strong diagnostic mind

​ Hands on with a can do' attitude

​ Diplomatic approach with cultural awareness
